But I am happy to be home again with my horns :D. Music and tennis go great together to make this the best summer I've ever had. Right now i"m listening to "Two to Tango" by Newport High School and Mark Taylor, one of my planned transcriptions. If you do not have the KPLU school of jazz album 5 yet you should get it :D its got South Whidbey, Newport, Roosevelt, Garfield etc. and my saxophone teacher Neil Welch with Shorewood on it. I think you'd like it. What are you working on currently? Its been tough to keep up the intensity after Centrum

I had a fusion band in the 90s, and actually bought the book for 4 Corners, but we never quite attacked Out of Town, cause the alto player was a little weak around the edges, lol. But I feel inspired hearing your pared-down arrangement, and would hope that at this point I can do a job somewhat comparable to Mr. Vanderbilt-Mathews. Peace!
